Welcome to Pain Psychotherapy Bay Area

Unlearn Your Chronic Pain and Symptoms

I can teach you to harness your brain’s inherent neuroplasticity
to overcome chronic pain and other stress-related chronic symptoms.

I’m so glad you’re reaching out for support. I specialize in working with adults who are hard on themselves. They are often people who give so much to others that they forget to care for themselves. This tendency can result in anxiety, depression, chronic pain or physical symptoms.

These difficulties often show up during times of stress—during pregnancy or postpartum, or during other stressful life transitions.

You can heal from these symptoms using your brain’s inherent neuroplasticity. Together, we can help you overcome chronic symptoms and find balance in your life. Caring for yourself will become just as natural as caring for others.

My psychotherapy approach helps clients manage anxiety, move through depression, overcome chronic pain and symptoms, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I integrate Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy, Internal Family Systems and EMDR in my work. These modalities support trauma healing, emotional expression, and recovery from chronic pain and neuroplastic symptoms (sometimes referred to as TMS or MindBody Syndrome).

Therapy with me is a space to live more authentically, strengthen your resilience, and transform life’s challenges into opportunities for growth and joy. My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and deeply supportive. I welcome people of all backgrounds and identities, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and people of all sizes and abilities. With the right support, you can reconnect with your true self, nurture self-compassion, and create a more vibrant and meaningful life.
